let us ensure we take care of our eyes this Holi,,,

1, Avoid industrial colors or synthetic dyes...these can harm the eyes permanently

2, Use natural colours only...

3, Do not rub your eyes when irritation occurs or colors enter the eyes

4, Do not throw water balloons and water guns - these can cause permanent damage and bleeding

5, Wash the eye thoroughly if something enters the eye.

6, Do not buy over the counter medications for the eyes like rose water etc... these can be harmful

HOLI is the festival of colours...
It signifies the victory of good over evil... the Holika dahan and the colours are a celebration of life 
given to us by mother nature. 

But the eyes have to be taken care of during Holi. 
1. some of the colors have harmful chemicals and cause abrasions on the surface of the eye ( cornea) and this may lead to severe burning.
2. It is best to wash the eyes, do not rub the eyes, and consult an eye doctor immediately. 
3. The gulal is better than the other colors. 
4. The reds and orange colors are safer, the green and silver are the bad culprits, which can cause severe stinging.

So take care and celebrate HOLI

I wish the festival of colors will bring more cheer and happiness in everyone s life. When the Holika burns, I wish all the evil in this world will disappear in the flames. I always wonder why our country is so weak. I wish our politicians were less selfish. I mean how much can a man eat in a day. What will they do with all the wealth and land they amass, am sure they will keep worrying daily about how to keep it to themselves. Selflessness will surely bring in great satisfaction and true happiness in ones life.

Lets hope some day things improve. I am happy with all the patients I serve. They always laugh and bless me...they realize it is not about money but it is about service that I want to give...I don't need to tell them that, they understand it...

I wish our politicians also have something to feel happy about apart from the wealth they keep amassing...
