Have you ever wondered what we are chasing all our lives ? Do we actually have control over our lives, the circumstances, the situations, the problems, the solutions, the good and the bad in our life. I guess not. Then who has actually written this story? When and where was this script made?

At the end of the day what are we aiming for? Everything is predetermined - life and death are the two most predictable milestones of our life. We are running from the one end that is life to the other end that is death - all our lives. Maybe we should sit back and contemplate on what we are running after. What do we need, what do we have - not just the material but the immaterial things.

As a surgeon we are aiming to give the best results, but sometimes the most unpredictable things happen. There should be no feelings of grandiosity when one is a surgeon as one knows that nothing is predictable especially with regards to human beings. Somewhere down the live we need to acknowledge that we are governed by a different force, an intangible and unseen power, we are all small toys - the game is played at a different level and we are in fact quite small in front of that supreme force. More reason to be philanthropic and do good for others.

I wish the festival of colors will bring more cheer and happiness in everyone s life. When the Holika burns, I wish all the evil in this world will disappear in the flames. I always wonder why our country is so weak. I wish our politicians were less selfish. I mean how much can a man eat in a day. What will they do with all the wealth and land they amass, am sure they will keep worrying daily about how to keep it to themselves. Selflessness will surely bring in great satisfaction and true happiness in ones life.

Lets hope some day things improve. I am happy with all the patients I serve. They always laugh and bless me...they realize it is not about money but it is about service that I want to give...I don't need to tell them that, they understand it...

I wish our politicians also have something to feel happy about apart from the wealth they keep amassing...
