I wish every child could see well, there was no case of lazy eye and no squint, no child would need glasses... an ideal world.
I wonder why some children are told their amblyopia will never improve... can we not try and encourage and wait for that wonder to happen and make it happen - where the child will start seeing again, where the eye doctor can no longer make a diagnosis of lazy eyes in the child, simply because the child is cured.
While we cannot become God, we always want to ensure that we can make things better and do more for our patients...In that sense being a doctor is a very good profession to be in ..
